6. Hold the button for 6 seconds before removing the needle
7. Dispose of the needle safely in a sharps container

Ozempic pens are available in 0.25 mg, 0.5 mg, 1 mg, and 2 mg doses. Treatment typically begins at 0.25 mg once weekly for four weeks, followed by dose escalation based on tolerance and blood sugar response.
