Uses

Aprecap 125mg Capsule is used for:

• Prevention of chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting (CINV)

• Prevention of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV)

• Often used in combination with other antiemetic drugs such as dexamethasone or 5-HT3 antagonists

How It Works

Aprepitant works by blocking neurokinin-1 (NK1) receptors in the brain, which prevents substance P from activating the vomiting reflex. This helps reduce nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy or surgery.

Dosage & Administration

• Taken orally, usually once daily before chemotherapy
